Privacy Policy

How IND AMICUS LEGAL collects, uses and protects personal data through this website.

Last updated: 24 October 2026

1. About this policy

IND AMICUS LEGAL (“the Firm”, “we”, “us”) operates this website. This policy explains how we handle personal data of people who visit the website or contact us through it, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules. By using this website and accepting the Disclaimer, you accept this policy together with our Terms of Use.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. Your name, company, email address or phone number and the message you send when you contact us by email, phone or the enquiry form. The form opens your own email app, so nothing reaches us until you press send there, and we receive only what you send.
  • Information collected automatically. Our website hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit, to run and secure the service. We do not run our own analytics or advertising tools on this website at present.
  • Your disclaimer choice. If you tick “Remember my confirmation”, your browser stores a small note for that browsing session only. See our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use information

  • To reply to your enquiry and decide whether we can assist you, including checking for conflicts of interest.
  • To manage our relationship with you and keep records as the law and professional rules require.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed: with service providers who help us run the website and our email, with professional advisers, with authorities where the law requires it, or with your consent. Advocates owe duties of confidentiality, and we handle client information accordingly.

5. Third-party services and links

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers and Google may receive your IP address. The Regulatory Insights section links to regulators such as SEBI, RBI and CBIC. Those websites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

6. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed for the purpose they were given, and for any period required by law or professional rules. After that we delete or anonymise them.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission is completely secure. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information in a first message. Wait until we confirm we can act and tell you how to send documents securely.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw consent you gave, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. Write to us using the details below. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India where the law allows.

9. Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under 18 through it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its date.

11. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction over disputes arising from it.
